Authentic Trilobite Geode Real Fossil 450 Million Years Old Dinosaur Girl COA 09

Proceeds from the sale of Dino Girl fossils are used to fund my grand-daughter's education. She is finishing up high school and will be entering college to get a degree in Paleontology. Everyone has called her "Dino Girl" since she dug up her first dinosaur bone in my backyard at the age of 4. It has been her lifelong dream to become a Paleontolgist since then. I'm her "Papa Dino" and that's the story of Dino Girl:)

This Trilobite fossil of the Calymene species was excavated in the Atlas Region of Morocco in the late 2000’s. Dates from 488 to 443 Million years ago during the Ordovician Period of the Paleozoic Era. Provenance: Ex. Kelly Johnson Executive Private Collection.

Trilobites first appeared during the early Cambrian Period about 530 million years ago. Having an external skeleton, they could weigh as much as 10 pounds. Trilobites were already extinct before dinosaurs first appeared, making them one of the earliest known complex animals to have ever existed on the earth. Their closest living relatives are the horseshoe crabs, species Limulus.
